The Whitefish Songwriter Festival - Three days of original music created by the greatest songwriters in the industry. These original artists will share their songs and the stories behind their inspiration! Songwriters will fill the downtown Whitefish bars, restaurant, theaters, and music stores with their hit songs that may have hit the top of the charts and current songs that are on the radio today. You know the performers and now you will have the chance to meet the hitmakers - The songwriters! These songwriters have penned over 100 hit songs for top artists including Lady Gaga, Chris Stapleton, Gary Allan, George Strait, Blake Shelton, Zach Top, Eddie Rabbitt, Kenny Rogers, Ronnie Milsap, Dolly Parton, Crystal Gayle, Don Williams, Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, Randy Houser, Jon Pardi, Reba McEntire, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker, Kenny Chesney, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Lainey Wilson, Dr. Hook, Billy Currington, Eric Church, Tucker Beathard, Rodney Atkins, Trace Adkins, Dillon Carmichael, Craig Campbell, Anderson East, The Cadillac Three, Midland, Robert Randolph, Elvie Shane, Lee Ann Womack, Joey + Rory, Mickey Guyton, Rascal Flatts, and more.
All songwriter shows will be held in a “round” format which include 2 – 3 songwriters on stage taking turns sharing their original songs and stories. This style of performance is especially popular in country, Americana, folk, and singer-songwriter circles—originating and thriving in places like Nashville, particularly at venues like The Bluebird Café. The festival will be held in the iconic restaurants, shops, bars, and theaters in the heart of downtown Whitefish. All the festival venues will become listening rooms. This intimate experience allows the audience to be close to the artists, which creates a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the songwriting world.
