In Moiese, explore the 18,500-acre CSKT Bison Range on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Visitors can take a self-directed driving tour featuring two scenic drives (one of which is seasonal and includes walking trails) for an up-close look at approximately 350 bison roam alongside deer, elk, pronghorn, bears, native birds and more, all against the backdrop of the stunning Mission Mountains. Formerly the National Bison Range, the CSKT Bison Range was restored by Congress in 2022 to the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
