Glacier National Park

Historic Red Buses
Take a ride back in time while taking in the sites of Glacier National Park aboard a historic red bus. Tours depart from multiple locations on the east and west sides of the park, with routes ranging from a few hours to a full day. These vintage motorcoaches feature roll-back canvas tops for wide-open views along the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Private Red Bus Tours are also available for groups and must be booked in advance.

Sun Tours
Explore Glacier National Park with an interpretive tour led from the perspective of the Blackfeet Nation. Sun Tours offers scheduled trips along the Going-to-the-Sun Road, as well as private tours that can be customized for groups traveling within the park. Advance reservations are recommended.

The Glacier Institute
The Glacier Institute combines transportation with hands-on learning through guided sightseeing tours, educational hikes and custom programs in Glacier National Park. These experiences are a strong option for groups that want to explore the park without navigating its roads or searching for parking, and private programs can be tailored to the group’s interests.

Glacier National Park Shuttles
The reservation-only Logan Pass Shuttle offers express transportation to Logan Pass from both sides of the Going-to-the-Sun Road. West-side service departs from Apgar Visitor Center and Lake McDonald Lodge, with stops at The Loop and Logan Pass. East-side service departs from St. Mary Visitor Center and Rising Sun. Tickets are required, and shuttles will not pick up passengers without reservations. For current details, visit nps.gov.
