Between Whitefish and Eureka, Olney sits in the heart of the Kootenai National Forest. The surrounding wilderness includes numerous ranger stations, cabins and lookouts maintained by the U.S. Forest Service. Many of the cabins and lookouts are available for overnight rental and provide a rustic wilderness experience complete with authentic Montana views.
