South of Missoula in the heart of the Bitterroot Valley, the storybook community of Corvallis offers access to the 1,200-acre Teller Wildlife Refuge. Sitting along 4 miles of the winding Bitterroot River, the refuge is home to white-tailed deer, moose, red foxes, coyotes and beaver, and three species of trout navigate its waters.
