Newsies tells the inspiring story of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy in turn-of-the century New York City who leads a ragtag group of fellow newspaper sellers when powerful publishers raise the price they must pay for papers. Faced with unfair conditions, Jack and the newsies band together, organize a strike, and learn the strength of solidarity as they fight for justice and a better future.
