Description:
This event provides racing opportunities for experienced Biathletes with their own rifles and for Novice participants.
If you are not an experienced biathlete with your own rifle, please register in the appropriate Novice category.
Race Day Schedule:
08:30 Bib Pickup - Taylor Fork Cabin at the Stadium
09:00-09:50 ZERO and Novice Clinic
10:00 Mass Start - Separated by Categories - Start order and times will be emailed Saturday night
ALL NOVICE categories will do a SPRINT format. 3 skiing loops, and two shooting bouts of PRONE.
ALL other categories will do a MASS START format. 5 Skiing Loops, 4 shooting bouts, with shooting as detailed below.
Shooting Range Protocols:
All Novice Categories AND U15/U13 Categories: Rifles will be on the shooting mat, monitored by a volunteer. Ski to an open lane and the volunteer will help you. 75m Penalty loop for each miss.
Men, Women, Juniors, Youth, Masters: per IBU rules. Range will be divided Prone and Standing. Fill from the right or as directed.
150m Penalty loop for each miss.
