Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Kennedy Commons
Celebrate the magic of the holiday season in the heart of downtown Anaconda! The Christmas Stroll is a cherished community tradition that marks the official kickoff to the holidays. It’s a night filled with festive lights, joyful music, and the spirit of togetherness as friends, families, and neighbors come together to celebrate the season.
This family-friendly event is free to attend, and everyone is encouraged to shop local, grab a bite to eat, and support Anaconda’s small businesses while taking in the festive fun.
Event Schedule
5:30 p.m. – Christmas Light Parade on Main Street
6:00 p.m. – Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Kennedy Commons, featuring Santa Claus himself
6:00 p.m. and beyond – Downtown Stroll — visit your favorite shops, enjoy live music, food trucks, craft vendors, and live mannequins, and don’t forget to stop by the Hickory House Inn for photos with Santa!
8:00 p.m. – Festival of the Trees at the Elks Lodge — admire beautifully decorated trees and bid on your favorite to take home.
Stroll Buttons + Kickoff
Stroll Buttons go on sale November 1 at select Anaconda businesses and at the Discover Anaconda Visitor Center (list of participating businesses coming soon).
Join us for the Stroll Kickoff, November 6–8! When you purchase your Stroll Button from a participating business during kickoff weekend, you’ll automatically be entered to win a free turkey or gift card. Winners will be drawn on Monday, November 10.
Don’t forget to wear your Button on the night of the Christmas Stroll! Each button has a unique number, and during the event, we’ll hold two special prize drawings:
1st: $750 in Anaconda Bucks
2nd: $250 in Anaconda Bucks
If your Stroll Button number is called, you win — so keep your button handy and know your number!
