The Confluence Center (Western Montana's Home for Nonprofit Events) is thrilled to present our 3rd Annual Traditional Día de los Muertos! We invite you to join us for a multi-day celebration honoring the Latin American tradition and enjoying this time with our community.
Saturday, November 1st - Community Ofrendas
• 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Community Ofrendas and Memorabilia
Community members are welcome to bring 5x7 or smaller sized photos, memorabilia, and ofrendas to place on the altar. Feel free to honor your loved ones by contributing to the display.
• Starting at 3 PM, we will offer:
o Playlist from DJ Big Lou
o Traditional Mexican Food, Colombian Arepas & Traditional Latin Desserts
o Drinks for purchase offered by The Rhino Bar.
This is a time to gather, share memories, and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
Sunday, November 2nd - Main Día de los Muertos Celebration
• 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM: Main Celebration
Join us for the official day of celebration, including:
o Traditional ceremonies and altar viewing
o Face painting, kids activities, and the showing of the movie Coco inside the Confluence Center from 3pm-7pm
o Group art exhibit "Raiz y Rama" inside the Confluence Center featuring local and national Latine artists
o Latine Music by DJ Big Lou
o Mexican food, Colombian arepas, traditional Latine desserts, and aguas frescas for purchase.
o Missoula Public Library Bookmobile, with Latine-themed books
o Drinks for purchase offered by The Rhino Bar.
o A communal reflection and honoring of those who have passed.
