Description:
Mahler’s Third Symphony has long been considered the ultimate attempt by a composer to attempt to express, in personal musical terms, the entire scope of human life and the natural world. Inspired by writings of Nitzsche, the 6 movements of this massive work encompass aspects of the natural world, human life and spiritual aspiration. The symphonic scope and expression are like non other in the repertoire, expressing the deep wonder of existence. What Love Tells Me is the title of the final movement of this expansive symphonic statement.
