Description:
Denver-based funk powerhouse The Motet will return to Montana in 2025, performing at The Wilma in Missoula on Friday, October 10th and The ELM in Bozeman on Saturday, October 11th.
Known for their genre-blending sound and explosive performances, The Motet have been tearing up stages since 1998—dropping ten studio albums and lighting up major festivals like Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and High Sierra. Fan-favorite tracks like “Nemesis,” “Supernova,” and “Rynodub” showcase their signature mix of funk, soul, and improvisation.
Their latest album, Love Time (2024), kicks off a bold new chapter with vocalist Sarah Clarke joining longtime members Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), Drew Sayers (sax, keys), and Ryan Jalbert (guitar). Together, they’re reigniting the spark that’s fueled over two decades of genre-bending exploration and more than a thousand live shows.
