Longstanding indie folk rock band, The Mountain Goats, will return to Montana in 2025, performing at The ELM in Bozeman on Sunday, November 30th and The Wilma in Missoula on December 1st.
Led by the prolific John Darnielle, The Mountain Goats have carved out a unique space in the music world with their emotionally charged lyrics, vivid storytelling, and a fiercely dedicated fanbase. Over the span of more than three decades, they’ve released a staggering number of albums—ranging from lo-fi cassette recordings to lush, full-band productions.
Their expansive catalog includes fan-favorite records like All Hail West Texas, The Sunset Tree, and Beat the Champ. Their most recent album Jenny from Thebes was released in 2023.
