Description:
Get ready to dive into the joy of baking Sourdough in our all new “Sourdough for Starters” Workshop! Join local baker and chef, Thomas Walker, as he walks you through starting and maintaining a sourdough starter, mixing, kneading and shaping dough, and of course the proper baking methods. Participants are encouraged to bring a clean jar and lid to take home their own starter. You’ll leave this workshop with a sourdough boule that you’ve shaped yourself and all the skills to recreate it home!
This workshop will be held in the Honeyberry Culinary Classroom at the Missoula County Department of Ecology and Extension - 1075 South Avenue West.
