Description:
Indie folk band Blind Pilot will make their triumphant return to Montana in 2025, performing at The Wilma in Missoula on Friday, July 11th and The ELM in Bozeman on Saturday, July 12th.
Formed in 2007, Portland, OR’s Blind Pilot quickly won over audiences with their stripped-down sound and emotional songwriting. Their debut album, 3 Rounds and a Sound (2008), includes some of their most beloved tracks like “3 Rounds and a Sound” and “The Story I Heard.” They followed up with We Are The Tide (2011) and And Then Like Lions (2016). Their music has been featured in popular television programs, including Chuck, One Tree Hill, and Californication.
Earlier this year, Blind Pilot released In the Shadow of the Holy Mountain, their first album in eight years. No Depression praised the album, saying, “For fans of Blind Pilot, the eight-year wait between albums was likely torturous. But their patience has been rewarded with an album that is full of everything they have come to love about the band, with a healthy dose of maturation.”
