Randy Travis, whose real name is Randy Bruce Traywick, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor who performs country and gospel music. In the late 1980s, he led a movement to return country music to its traditional roots, paving the way for other artists to bring old country back to Nashville. Travis has won multiple awards, including Grammys, Academy of Country Music Awards, and Gospel Music Association Dove Awards.
