Description:
JAZZ EDUCATION is our Focus
We are excited to host a phenomenal crew of artists and educators including award-winning artists including performer/educator Zach Paris (drum set) from Northwest College and Vern Sielert (trumpet) from University of Idaho. The festival also welcomes for the first time award-winning Mark Taylor (sax) from Seattle, pianist Dawn Clement (Denver) and bassist Molly Redfield from LSU.
Performances, masterclasses, improvisation classes and clinics from the guest artists and our own faculty each day. Schedules will be online soon!
In addition to the educational element of the festival, public performances will electrify the local jazz community. On Friday evening after the festival concert the guest artists will be performing an 'After Hours’ session with the Connor Racicot Trio at Stave & Hoop - following the evening concert.
