Where:
FH Stoltze Land & Lumber
600 Halfmoon Rd Columbia Falls, MT
Description:
We’ll make campfires in the winter woods, with just a match or lighter and a woods knife. We’ll practice lighting matches, learn to assemble a fire structure that will catch quickly, and learn the tips and tricks of finding dry wood and tinder in the snowy or wet forest. We’ll harvest our own tinder, kindling, and firewood by hand (no saws), and make and tend our own little survival fires.
This event will be at the Stotlze Land & Lumbar Co. Trumbull Canyon Camp and we will all meet at the Grandstand and shuttle up to the site.
