Spend four days on the water at Paddle Palooza and the ARE Sprint Challenge, where paddling, racing and community come together on Flathead Lake and the Flathead River. This annual event supports breast cancer awareness through outrigger canoe racing and SUP competition, all set against Montana’s wide-open backdrop.

Paddle Palooza draws more than 200 paddlers from around the world for an unforgettable outrigger experience under the Big Sky. Spectators and participants alike can take in the energy on the water while honoring the lake’s cultural and natural significance.

The ARE Sprint Challenge, presented by ARE Outrigger World, brings fast-paced 500-meter, head-to-head racing to a four-lane flat-water course at the Polson Fairgrounds. With divisions from juniors to masters, teams travel from across the U.S., Canada and the Pacific to compete.

Together, these events showcase the strength of community and the mission of Silver Lining Foundation–Montana: supporting wellness of mind, body and spirit through movement and shared experience.
