Join Land to Hand MT for this free, educational, and family-friendly event about community food systems at FVCC’s Arts and Technology building in Kalispell, MT! Free The Seeds returns for the 10th year on Saturday, March 1, featuring a Keynote Speaker, Bob Quinn, Legacy Awards, interactive workshops, activities, a seed giveaway, and more. The theme for 2025 is Honoring Our Roots.
This is a FREE community-powered event that encourages people to build a sustainable and resilient future through real seeds, real food, and real skills. The annual daylong fair headlines with a giant free seed giveaway in addition to 40+ booths, 20+ skill-building workshops (3 of them kid specific), and 2 rooms full of day-long activities about seeds and up-cycling materials. Every aspect of the event emphasizes the importance of a strong local food system and each attendee’s role in it.
