Where:
Downtown Philipsburg
Philipsburg,, MT
Description:
Philipsburg feels like a scene out of a Hallmark movie in December with the return of our Yule Night celebrations. Cozy up to an outdoor fire with mulled wine or hot cocoa, browse the local artisan Yule Night Market for Christmas gifts at the Granite County Museum, take a photo with our resident Santa Claus, and frost gingerbread cookies at the Philipsburg Library with the kids, ahead of our Parade of Lights that evening, featuring floats from our local businesses and community organizations.
Stay for a bite to eat at one of our restaurants, or just to take a stroll down our picturesque main street under the glow of our lighted wreaths - hung each year by our Philipsburg Rotary Club members - and pop into our stores which stay open late to serve treats and hot beverages.
If the weather’s right, don’t forget to wander down to the Philipsburg Ice Rink at Winninghoff Park to grab a pair of free skates (donations accepted) and glide across the ice with the locals, ahead of the Christmas concert in Montana’s oldest operating theater across the street.
This year’s Yule Night will be December 13, 2024. Festivities start at 3 p.m.
