Join us for the first annual 5k in Hungry Horse, Montana! This beautiful course will take you on a gravel road right next to the South Fork of the Flathead River. It will be one of the prettiest runs you have done this year! The race will start at 11:00am on Saturday, October 19th. The race starts and ends at Canyon Elementary School in Hungry Horse, Montana and is an out and back course. Race participants are encouraged to walk or run the course. Stollers are welcome, but please note, that a section of the course is on a gravel road so be prepared!
The Harvestfest 5k is an official chip-timed race with awards given to the top male and female winners in the following categories: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Packet Pick Up | Packets can be picked up at the Columbia Falls Area Chamber Office on Friday, October 18th between 8:30-3:00pm. Please Note: Same-day packet pick-up is allowed the day of the race from 8:30-10:30 am, but we highly recommend participants pick up your packet the day before as lines will get long. Same-day pickup will end promptly at 10:30am to ensure the race starts on time at 11:00am.
Swag | Race day swag is guaranteed for participants who sign up for the race prior to October 3rd . Participants who sign up for the race after this date are not guaranteed swag.
Additional Details | Late registration is available the morning of the race, at Canyon Elementary School, from 8:30am-10:00am for an additional $5 fee. Race starts at 11:00am sharp.
Stick around after your race! After race events include a childrens fun run and costume parade, dessert auction, pie eating contest, kid's crafts, games and activities, chili cook-off, cornbread competition, FREE chili lunch, yard games (weather dependent) and plenty more fall activities! Event runs from 11:00am-3:00pm.
Proceeds for the Harvestfest 5k and event support the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, a 501-c6 nonprofit whose mission is to promote local business and support our community and also a portion will be donated to the West Glacier Elementary School to support school progams. materials, and projects
