281 Rodeo Dr Florence, Montana
Description:
MEET: Carpool or drive to the Backyard Taphouse in Florence, where the ride will begin and end. (Carpoolers park near PEAK on Buckhouse Lane, and gather where it intersects with Blue Mountain Rd.)
We have permission to travel across private land to Big Sky Lavender Farm, then we'll ride through the Chief Looking Glass fishing access, stopping for a stretch/yoga break if time allows. After a short single track trail segment we'll loop around, UNDER Highway 93, and travel back to the Taphouse on the paved Bitterroot Trail running parallel to the highway. Optional dinner/beverage at the Backyard Taphouse. Ride is approximately 10-12 miles at a leisurely pace. Skinny tires are not recommended, but E-bikes are ok.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
FOR SUMMER RIDES: canceled if temps are forecast to be over 90. Rides will be rescheduled if possible.
FOR ALL OUR RIDES: bring helmet, water, bike lock, bike light (just in case) and extra clothes for potentially cooler temps on the ride back!
