Missoula funk collective Shakewell and Butte-based electro soul-pop duo Desperate Electric are combining forces to bring Missoula and Bozeman two Montana-made funk dance parties! The shows will take place on graduation weekend: first at The Wilma on Friday, May 10th, followed by The ELM on Saturday, May 11th.

Shakewell have been throwing legendary dance parties since their inception in 2013. Their veteran cast of local musicians are experts at creating irresistible grooves. Whether it’s a sold out New Year’s Eve show at the Top Hat or opening for Lake Street Dive at KettleHouse Amphitheater, Shakewell bring the heat every time.

Comprised of Ben Morris and Kati Korti, Desperate Electric have more than enough steez and energy to fill any room. Bursting onto Montana’s music scene around 2019, the two seamlessly blend funk, rock, soul, pop, and R&B into catchy and dance-worthy tunes that truly come alive on stage with their larger than life personas.
