Hear artist Mimi Jung talk about her artmaking ideas and practice. Celebrate the exhibition with the artist in a brief reception to follow.

Jung stretches the traditional art of weaving from tapestry and large sculptural woven works to experimental materials and forms, including cast metal. Jung works with intricate and new techniques to explore her personal experience and the interplay of external relationships. Born in Korea and now based in Montana, Jung earned a BFA at the Cooper Union and attended HGK Basel and Städelschule for postgraduate studies. She has mounted exhibitions throughout the U.S. and internationally.
