Griz Pride runs year-round, and there’s nothing that brings students and the community together quite like the Brawl of the Wild. Prior to the Lady Griz (Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.) and Griz (Saturday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.) Brawl of the Wild basketball games, get the weekend started with the second annual Winter Pep Rally on Friday, Feb. 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the Oval.
Join fellow Grizzlies for an amazing evening, featuring a bonfire on the Oval, talks from Griz Athletes, a fireworks show and firepits, hot cocoa and more! The event is free to all thanks to the support of Montana Dairy Farmers and ASUM student government. ASUM Griz-Cat gear will be sold by ASUM at the event, with a special raffle prize to win if you stop by their table to sign up.
In addition to speeches from both the women’s and men’s basketball teams, Montana’s spirit squads, Monte, and Zoo Crew will also be in attendance.
*Parking is free after 5pm on UM campus. Both basketball games on Feb. 17 are free to UM students. All tickets for the games can be found on gogriz.com.
