Baroque Music Montana presents "Handel's Heroines," featuring selections from the tune queen's best operas and oratorios. This program is designed by BaMM favorite, Davina Clarke, a celebrated baroque violinist from London. She brings expertise of the incredible vocal tradition of the UK along with the release of her recent acclaimed Handel album "Sweet Stillness" to curate repertoire of heart-rending arias. Sung by New York City based mezzo-soprano Sylvia Leith, a period instrument band accompanies, featuring Bozeman violinist Carrie Krause along with Clarke, celebrated Laramie cellist Beth Vanderborgh, and Brit harpsichordist Ian Pritchard. Celebrate dramatic historic heroines of antiquity as well as our on-stage modern day heroines of Handel's magnificent oeuvre.
