Two years after first pairing the brilliant, bold artworks of Dale Livezey (paintings in oil) and Josh DeWeese (ceramics), Sky Above, Earth Below opens with new works by these two preeminent Montana-based artists. Livezey's sumptuous paintings interpret the landscape of the heart; breathtaking swaths of sky capture the magical edges of dawn and dusk, lingering in moments all too fleeting. DeWeese's naturalistic, colorful pots assert the gravitas of raw earth onto these curated spaces. A master of his craft, DeWeese advances the Modernist aesthetic in each functional artwork.
