Located in southeast Montana, Billings is Montana’s largest city and garnered its nickname, The Magic City, due to its rapid growth as a railroad town in 1882. It’s also the trade and distribution center for most of Montana, northern Wyoming and western portions of North Dakota and South Dakota.
