Carrying a hearty legacy, Pablo was named for tribal member Michel Pablo—a rancher and stockman who played a role in saving the bison of Montana from extinction. Headquarters for the Flathead Indian Reservation, Pablo is home to Salish Kootenai College and the Pablo National Wildlife Refuge.

Meaning: “Forested Area Tapering to a Point”
