Wild West Adventures with a Glacier Country Outfitter
Travelers come to Western Montana’s Glacier Country from around the world as they look for authentic adventures that include things like cruising the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park, or attending an American Indian pow wow. We’ve got some additional regional-favorite adventures served up by Swan Mountain Outfitters. Stop in at the Crown of the Continent Discovery Center in West Glacier, offering a variety of Montana-made food, gifts and souvenirs, along with a seasonal petting zoo. Schedule some fun with a horseback-riding adventure in Glacier National Park or a llama-trekking adventure. New this year—rent a moped and cruise Glacier National Park in the open air. The region is known for world-class fly-fishing on its scenic rivers, so plan a floating or fishing trip to try and catch that elusive brown trout. If you’re visiting in the winter, Swan Mountain Outfitters can provide the ultimate snowmobiling outing on groomed trails throughout the region. |
