WINTER 2018

Winter Fun in Western Montana
Explore with Glacier Adventure Guides

Western Montana’s high season for visitors is summer, and we’ve had record-breaking visitation numbers to Glacier National Park and the surrounding region in the last several years. We get it—summer splendor in Western Montana’s Glacier Country is an unmatched and unforgettable experience. We do, however, have a little secret to share with you: Winter here is spectacular. If your clients are winter enthusiasts who like to partake in the wonder and awe of unspoiled nature (without the crowds) and commune in a setting unlike any other in the lower 48, we’ve got just the place. Visiting Western Montana in the winter feels a little like you have the whole region—and an entire national park—all to yourself. While Montana is considered a downhill skier and snowboarder’s paradise with six ski areas to choose from, there are other winter adventures too. The best way to experience some of this wonder of winter in Western Montana is with the help of a guide. Glacier Adventure Guides, one of our local outfitters and winter fun experts, has something for everyone year-round, but come find out what winter memory-making adventures they offer.

Motorcycle Touring
on Montana’s Open Roads

Motorcycle touring around the western United States is becoming increasingly popular for those motorcycle enthusiasts who live here in the U.S. and abroad. Home to uncrowded byways, backroads galore and more scenic beauty than you can imagine, Western Montana’s Glacier Country is prime motorcycle riding country in the late spring, summer and early fall. Traveling along our open roads lets bikers experience the untouched beauty, breathe in fresh mountain air and explore charming small towns along the way. Traveling on the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park is a must. This 50-mile-long road takes riders through the heart of the park, driving through glacial-carved terrain, jagged peaks and pristine wilderness, cresting the Continental Divide at Logan Pass.
