Description:

Missoula, MT (Wednesday, September 16, 2020): In close discussions with the Missoula County Health Department, Logjam Presents will open the Wilma theater in downtown Missoula on Friday, September 25, 2020 for a socially distanced evening of live music featuring local jazz ensemble Missoula Jazz Collective. With high ceilings, ample space for social distancing, and one of the best ventilation systems in the state, the Wilma provides a unique opportunity for Missoulians to support local musicians in a safe and comfortable environment. The venue will have its capacity reduced to less than 5%. The room will feature a mix of reserved, cabaret style two-top and four-top tables with tickets available for purchase in advance. Each seat will also come with a complimentary beverage. Entry will be managed by dedicated hosts and all attendees will be checked in for contact tracing purposes. Table service will be provided for all guests and the room will be set with single direction pathways. A full list of procedural and safety measures can be found here: https://logjampresents.com/wilma-cabaret/ Rob Trapper of Missoula Jazz Collective says, “We’re excited to get out there and play in front of our community. We feel so fortunate that the Wilma is our hometown venue and that the folks there will be providing a safe environment for our musicians and community members to experience the arts. We look forward to having normal capacity events in the future but until that time we are glad that Nick, Ryan, Alanya and all of the Logjam Presents folks are working to make the best of the current situation. I think I speak for the many artists in town, that we are grateful to Logjam Presents and the Wilma in helping us get back to creating that live energy for Missoula.”
