Description:

This new program at MAM provides a friendly art-viewing and art-making experience for those in the early stages of dementia and their caregivers. Based on the Museum of Modern Art’s Meet Me program, Art in the Moment creates a dementia-friendly learning community and provides an opportunity for caregivers and those with dementia to be together in a creative and relaxed environment. Participants will view and discuss works of art with a trained Art Guide, then move to the classroom for a hands-on art activity. Wednesdays, 10 AM–noon. Pre-registration required by calling 406.728.0447. Limited to 12 participants per session.
