Earth Day Work Day: Tree Planting At Milltown State Park

Come out to Milltown State Park and plant some native trees to celebrate Earth Day! We will meet at the park Overlook, and volunteers can enjoy a guided hike or a shuttle ride to the planting site. The guided hike will be less than a mile. No planting experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome! Please bring sturdy shoes, work gloves, and water. Volunteers should wear weather-appropriate clothing. Tools, extra gloves, and refreshments will be provided. Park staff will be happy to talk about the park, tree planting, or anything else you would like to know about Milltown—so come on out and enjoy Montana’s newest state park!
