celebrating the skill and bravery of those who work in the time-honored tradition of logging. The Bitterroot Valley of Western Montana comes alive with a timber sports event you don’t want to miss! Seventeen traditional logging competitions including axe throwing, pole climbing, log roll and cross-cut sawing. A family event featuring expert competitors performing skills of days gone by. pic-obstacle pole Climbing wall offers a challenge for all ages from Get a Grip Montana Bands Friday Night Sawyer Brown Look for plenty of activities for your little Lumberjacks, some of which are free, and many with cash, prizes and gift certificates. Tricycle races, tug of war competitions, 3 legged races, firewood stacking competitions, sawdust pile treasure hunt and much more. At the end of Saturday’s competitions lucky kids win new bicycles Entry Fees for the weekend $30.00 349 Main Darby Montana —- Parking at the north end of town with a shuttle service Camping available at Darby High school $20.00 a night or $30.00 for the weekend
